BBQ Pork Chops

Another Thursday is upon us. Where has the week gone? I really like sharing recipes with you guys so here is another easy one. I found this one on the web somewhere and don't remember where, but I have made and eaten this several times. My boys and DH love it!!

BBQ Pork Chops

4 or 5 thick cut pork chops (bone out)
1 beer
BBQ Sauce
McCormick Steak Seasoning
1 small onion, sliced
Olive Oil

Bring a pan to medium-high heat. After the pan gets hot pour a little bit of olive oil in the pan. Just enough to coat the pan. Sprinkle steak seasoning on the pork chops on both sides and then throw them in the pan. Brown them on both sides. Your not trying to fully cook them at this point just get a nice brown color on them. There will be little bits of seasoning and pork chop stuck to the pan when you are done. No worries. Pull your pan off the heat and pour about 1/2 the beer into the pan. Put the pan back on the heat and take a wooden spoon and scrap up all the little tidbits off the bottom of the pan. I think this is called de-glazing, but I'm not sure. Now take 1/2 a bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce and pour it into the pan with the beer. Give it a good mixing. Add the pork chops back into the pan. Top with the sliced onion. Put the lid on the pan. Turn the stove down to low and walk away. Yes ladies you heard me right. Walk away. Let these bad boys cook on low for about 1 1/2 hours. Turn them over once in that time and that is it.

This is how I server them.

Hope you try and enjoy these delicious supper yummy chops.

Saturday Wrap-UP

Hey all! I completely forgot to post last Saturday. By the time I remembered, it was Sunday night and I figured it was too late. I didn't do much last weekend, so I'll just post everything today. The weekend before last, I cleaned the boys' room and closet, they have a huge closet that could actually be another room, so they have their dressers in there among other things (you'll see later in the post). Last weekend, I didn't clean at all, I took the weekend off. It was Easter weekend and the weather was gorgeous, so I just spent all my time playing with the kids.

Here are the beautiful eggs they colored.

Here are pictures of the kids with their favorite eggs. I'm not sure what Joseph is doing in his picture. Also, notice Hailey's hands and my pup's nose jumping up trying to eat the egg as I took the picture. lol

Ok, now onto the pics of more spring cleaning. For the next couple weekends, I will be cleaning out my basement. It will probably take me forever. I have a ton of stuff down there that I need to get rid of. Here are the before pictures of the boys room.

This is of their bathroom. I didn't take an after picture because it looks the same, its just cleaner.

This is their closet.

This is their bedroom after...

and here is the closet afterwards...

That is all! I think I have overloaded you with pictures today. Don't forget to download your free template and post a link to your page using it to win a $5.00 coupon to my store! :) It is an easy way to get free product. :)

Until next week...
