A Ride Around Digi Land

Hi everyone! Helen here and it’s Thursday! Today I thought I would show you some of my favorite places to visit in the land of DIGI, woo-hoo! Climb aboard my virtual magic carpet and get ready to visit some great places. Well, they are great to me but I hope you find one you like, too!

These are not in any particular order so here goes….

First stop, The Digi Dares. Every week, a new “dare” is posted with instructions. There motto is “daring you to scrap outside the box” and believe me, they do! They have a new sponsor with each weeks’ new dare and awesome prizes for the winners. I still love the layouts I have done for the dares in the past!

Stop number two, Simple Scrapper. This amazingly designed site is written by Jennifer S. Wilson. I love meandering around this site. This is directly quoted from her “about” page which you can find HERE.

Next stop is, The Daily Digi. I {heart} this site. Great place for fab photog blurbs…tip & tutorials…amazing guest designer’s that contribute to the monthly Digi Files that is only $5 until the end of each month. Looking for a super daily dose of digi then this is a great place to stop.

Final stop today is Fonts for Peas. I had to throw this one in because hey, maybe not EVERYONE on the face of the digi-planet knows about these absolutely adorable FREE fonts! All of these fonts are created by the fabulous Kevin & Amanda based on people’s actual handwriting. It’s so very cool. You can download just the ones you like or if you are like me and want them all there is an option to download them all in just one click.

How about a Sunday freebie?

Yes, I'm late again, but this time I have a legitimate excuse. I have been having computer problems and every time I'm in the middle of something my computer shuts down on me!! GRR! It's so frustrating! I have lost more layouts then I care to recall! I have a bad habit of not saving along the way when I'm making my layouts, and I've had to start over SO many times!! BUT, I do have a freebie for you!

Who Likes Freebies???

It's another thrilling Thursday here and I, Helen (aka LifeScraps) am here to bring you today's blog post. I have an account with Bloglines but, for the last several months I have fallen behind on reading all the blogs I love. If these were actually newspapers being thrown in my front yard I would have had a citation from my city's "pretty police" by now. Thankfully, all my backlogged posts are neatly tucked away in cyberspace just waiting for me to have time to catch up. Okay, there is a reason I said all that. The other day I was scrolling through my list of blogs with posts waiting to be read and I saw Digital Daisy's Hand Picked Freebies. I couldn't wait to look at that one so I clicked and started scrolling through all the many free digital scrapbooking items she had posted. I get lost in there....sigh!

That got me to thinking about my blog post for today. I thought I would share her site (and a few others) with you so you all can take advantage of some really great freebies. I mean, who doesn't like getting stuff for free??
