Swoon! Come Virtual Shopping With Me!

Wanna go shopping with me? All images are clickable.
I want this acrylic on canvas piece of art. I love it. It was painted by Amborela. You should visit her shop, it is amazing!

Love this headband and I know my daugher would too! It is gorgeous. It was created by Luxurious Adornment.

I love how sweet and soft the headband on the left looks. I think I would even wear it myself. And that purple peony headband almost makes me want another baby girl. Both created by Bloomz.

Wouldn't these be adorable for Valentine's Day? They were created by The Paisley Moon.

Love this bag created by Sinem Inugur. And I'm loving the color gray and orange lately.

And this fabric bag created by Judianne. Love the tiles in the fabric.

I saved the best for last. This gorgeous fingerprint necklace by Ali Bali Jewellery. I have to have this!!! Wouldn't it make the perfect Mother's Day gift? *hint hint to my hubby* ;)

Have you all seen any must haves on Etsy? If so, link them up! I like to virtual shop and I may even get a few of these soon. :)

Basketball Stud *ahem* I mean Son

That is my handsome boy playing basketball. He looks like he is struttin out on the court, thinking, "Yeah, I'm bad."

He'd kill me if he knew I wrote that. Oh well.

He's going for a shot but misses. Booo!

You better watch out guest team. He has the ball.

Look out little boy. You can't block him. He is smooth. He'll get right past you.

He's turning it around to find a better spot to shoot.

Here is the money making shot.

Swoosh! That's beast!

That's what he would say, not me.

Yeah, he's the stud.

Doh! Great try blocking him, Joseph. But, your not quite tall enough. "In your face," the tall boy says, but he misses. *chuckle*

That's ok, tall boy, he'll get the rebound and go for another one.

Uh oh, they fouled him.

Check out the score. Home team is winning. :)

The commentary was all in fun. In all seriousness, there are two things that Joseph loves. Soccer and basketball. Plus, I had fun trying out my new camera on action shots inside. I can't wait to try it out at an indoor cheerleading competition. This weekend, baby!

Winners and A Couple of Pages!

If you are here to see if you were a winner, you can skip to the bottom of this post.

I created two scrapbook pages last week that I wanted to share with you. :)

This is a page I created using Kaye Winiecki's Freeze Factor kit. These pictures are of the snow we had in December that has yet to go away. It was too cold for us to play outside this day, so we just sit inside and sipped hot chocolate and watched movies all day.

I used Angie Hinksman's Rosa kit for this page. These pictures were taken at my friend's New Year's Eve get together.

Also, I received a PM in my box at digishoptalk from Lorilei of Rosey Posey Designs
asking is I would like a guest spot on her creative team. I was stoked, so of course, I said yes. :) I can't wait to show you pages that I create with her fab designs.

Now onto the winners of last week's freebie. :) In no particular order, the winners are:

Scrappin' Gramma
Shayna
Anna
Shuckclod
Elise

Congrats!!

I didn't have a way to get a hold of some of you. So, if you have not heard from me, then I need you to contact me at branhumphr @ yahoo.com, so I can get your download link to you. :)

Some of you may or may not know, but I am a retired digital scrap designer and I would love to offer more freebies on here more often of products that I used to sell in my shop and new products that I've created in my spare time. Therefore, I will have more giveaways on here at random times, so please keep checking back. This was fun! :)

My Obsession

I have an obsession with vases. The one above is in my guest bathroom.

I bought 3 or 4 vases about 3 years ago for really cheap at Sears. Ever since then, I have to buy one when I'm out if I find a good deal, even if I don't have anywhere to put it. I love all the different shapes and colors. I can't help myself. I think my husband will need to bring in a professional sometime soon to help this obsession of mine.

Here are all the different ones I have. These are in my dining room.

The two on the right are new and the one on the left came from a yard sale.

These were the first three that started my obsession.

This is an old Jack Daniels bottle. I put dried rose petals in it when my husband buys me roses, which isn't that often. I'm not a flowers kind of gal.

The two on the left are new and the one on the right matched the three that I bought at Sears, so I had to get it too. I think I found it at Walmart.

My mother inlaw bought the one on the left for me and the one on the right came with the above one from Walmart.

These are in the living room. I bought this one to go with my green curtains in the livingroom. I also have one just like this at work on my desk.

This one matches the one in my dining room. I bought this blue one because I love the color and the design on it. It is one of my favorites. Oh, and remember that vase the kid got from their great grandma and I couldn't find a place for it? I put it here for now.

These two are on my fireplace mantel. I plan on doing a mantel makeover soon. I just have to figure out what I want to do.

I also have this one at work on my desk. I'm a freak over vases, I tell ya!

All of these are in the kitchen on top of my cabinets.

This one is made out of magazines. I love it, it is so unique. I wanted to buy a large one just like it, but it was over $100.00. I do have some limits.

These are in my bedroom.

This is an old whiskey bottle and I keep rose petals in it as well.

I also just realized that I'm addicted to the colors blue/green. I've noticed everything I pick out for the house is a shade of either blue or green or a blue/green color. I'm trying to expand my color choices, but it isn't happening easily. My bedroom is painted a light blue color. Joseph's bedroom is painted dark blue and gold. Hunter's bedroom is painted a dark blue and we just picked out light teal color for Hailey's bedroom. My kitchen and dining room are painted green and the accent colors in the living room are also green. I did add orange to my bedroom to change things up a bit and I may paint Hunter's bedroom a different color, but I can't come up with anything other than a different shade of blue, I need to put my thinking cap on. A beige color in there would look good, but I don't know if he'll go for that.

What colors do you all tend to lean towards?

You all have one more day to comment for the freebie. I'll announce the winners tomorrow! :)

My Closet Shelves

This is going to be a quick post because I have some scrapping to do, but I wanted to show you what I did to my closet. It used to look like this.

Then I moved the mirror into my bedroom as you can see here.

I then sent the hubby to the store to get some shelves. Luckily, they were on sell for 9.99 a package. I think he had to buy 4. I may go back and get more because there isn't room for my tennis shoes, so I had to put them in the floor. I'd also like to add more heels to my collection since I have a new job.

Now, I want to paint the drawers white. I also feel like the space above the drawers and shelves is a bit bare. After I add more shelves to the top of these and paint the drawers white, I may put a clock above the drawers so I can keep track of the time as I get ready or I might add some decorative shelves above the drawers for more storage. We'll see.

Oh, since my bathroom is right across from my closet, I sort of miss that mirror being there. Hailey always brushed her hair in that mirror while I brushed mine in the bathroom, so I added this mirror to the back of the bathroom door from the inside. I'm not loving the black, but it will do for now.

Look for a chance to win a freebie on the blog tomorrow. :)

Heck Yeahs!

I started level 2 of "30 Day Shred" by Jillian Michaels this past Thursday. I did level 1 for 10 days and rested 1 day between level 1 and level 2. Level 1 started out difficult but as the days went on, it bacame easier and easier. I just knew I was ready for level 2, plus Hailey was getting bored and was ready to move on after day 7.

Let me just say this!!

Yeah, that is right, Ohhhh M Geeee! It was hard. It works a completely different muscle group and the moves are hard, but fun, if that makes any sense. I actually love level 2 workouts way better, but they are freaking hard. I thought I was going to die the first day, literally. I was panting, soaked with sweat, but felt so good! I have to modify some of my moves because you are in the plank position in a lot of these moves and my upper body strength just isn't where it needs to be to do these exercises. I did have to take another rest day this past Sunday because my muscles needed the rest. After 4 days of doing level 2, I am noticing a huge difference in my strength and my body is starting to change shape.

I wish I had taken measurements before I started the video to see how many inches I've lost in my legs. I can tell a big difference in my clothes and my inner thighs barely touch anymore when I walk. There used to be a trail of smoke behind me from the friction of my thighs. Just kidding, but they did rub a lot; now they just lightly touch. My goal is to be able to walk without them touching at all because I would like to be able to wear shorter shorts than bermuda and not have them ride up. I WILL this summer. It will also be nice to walk on the beach without my thighs sticking together. I can't wait.

I'm going to try to start level 3 on Jan 31st. I'm really excited to see how my strength and body takes shape after I complete level 2 and start level 3. I feel powerful and in control! I am woman, hear me roar! :)

I'm hoping to have a freebie up on my blog sometime this week for those of you that scrap. Remember those messy stitches that I had in my shop last summer? You'll now have a chance to win them. Stay tuned. For now, here is a scrap page I created using "I Believe kit" kit by Deca Designs at Two Little Pixels.
