Nella's 2 for 2 Fund

I am a religious reader of Kelle Hampton's blog. If you aren't, you should be. She takes beautiful pictures and shares beautiful stories of her daughters and being a mother. Her insightful writing is like no other. I've learned so much from her.

In 5 days, her daughter Nella will turn 2. Nella was born with down syndrome. Kelle raised $100,000 plus last year for the The National Down Syndrome Society in honor of Nella. Her intensions were to raise $15,000.00 but the response was remarkable.

This year, in honor of Nella turning two, she started the 2 for 2 Fund in hopes to raise $200,000 for Nella's 2nd birthday. She is almost there. Watch this video. You will be inspired to help them raise awareness for a more tolerant society that embraces and celebrates differences. It is beautiful. I cried. Every dollar counts, you don't have to donate much.  She has almost reached her goal, she just needs $40,000.00 more.  If she can get 40,000 people to donate $1.00, she will reach her goal.  If you have a dollar or two to spare, please donate.
